Hey everyone,

If you read the goodbye article from last year, you may have seen the name Mira El Achhab mentioned. If you didn’t read it, it’s still a pleasure to have you here, and I welcome you warmly to The Victoria Voice, edited by me (the Mira El Achhab mentioned above)!

I know it’s a little bit late to start publishing stuff, but Grade 12 has been busy. Who would have thought? Regardless, the newspaper is always looking for new people to add content to the page. Whether it be political thinkpieces, short stories, personal essays, art, photography, movie reviews, or literally anything else you can think of, we want to hear it! Are you a musician, actor or dancer who has a performance coming up? Email us, and we’ll help you promote it! To quote my predecessors from their own beginning of-year message (they were also a bit late in the year to catch up with the paper, so don’t start with me), The Vic Voice is a hub to bring together the school community, but we need a community to bring together and we need you to help us make that happen!
